One doesn’t discover new lands without consenting to lose sight of the shore for a very long time.
— Andre Gide

That momentary, seemingly endless change in perspective is often needed to gain clarity on a situation. Because when you are so close to a problem it can be hard to see any solution with the habitual methods that got you there. So you’re left adrift, stuck going in circles, unable to affect any change or see anything on the horizon.

So while it can be scary to put yourself in uncharted waters, always know that something better is out there, waiting. Waiting just out of view for us to discover it. If only we have the faith and patience to follow through.
