Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.
— Maya Angelou
This is essentially my approach to this blog: to do the best I can in each new moment. To say what I think and believe to the best of my knowledge and ability. To be open to criticism and being humble enough to admit when I’m wrong or could improve.
In fact, that’s more or less my approach to life. It keeps me on track and motivated with my habits and goals. It keeps me always wanting to learn more, both to stay informed and to curate that knowledge to accomplish my other goals.
The key part of this idea is the willingness to admit there is room for you to improve. Without that acknowledgement, nothing is going to change. It doesn’t matter how competent you are, if you’re not open to change, then you’re not going to get any better.
And being better is best.
